Since 1999, BernierDance has worked to make a difference
through the art of dance. Producing annual concerts such as
the CT MEETS NY DANCE FEST, not only offers the community
the opportunity to witness the richness of modern dance,
it also enables a selection of artists the opportunity to
showcase their dance companies and new choreography.
Free on-going workshops such as the Sister Project also
bring a greater understanding of contemporary dance as
well as build a stronger sense of self.
The annual Artists for Peace concert is a collaborative
effort led by BernierDance and Peace Action where artists
come together to create a performance work that
raises consciousness as well as funds for local and
global organizations working for peace and social justice.
BernierDance also works to create contemporary
dance works that speak to the comedy, mystery
and drama of being human.
Board Request
BernierDance is looking for people who are enthusiastic and passionate about dance. We are seeking persons with the following skills who can aid BernierDance in an ' hands on manner' a few hours a month and help take BernierDance into the future.
